My name is Cat Smith and I live in rural Somerset near to Taunton with my husband and two children, all of whom are hands-on in our cat-crazy household.  I have kept cats my whole life but for me British Shorthairs have got it all, combining loyal companionship and a relaxed character with stunning beauty.

As a breeder, I aim to produce silver tabby and spotted kittens who have confident and loving temperaments, whilst developing excellent ‘type’, such as round smiley faces, huge saucer-like green eyes and small ears. Showing my cats all over the country supports my breeding goals, ensuring that my cats meet the British Shorthair Classic Silver Tabby and Silver Spotted Standard of Points, as specified by the GCCF (Governing Council of the Cat Fancy), the UK's premier registration body for pedigree cats.

I work within a network of other experienced silver tabby breeders who share expertise, providing a wealth of advice and breeding support. I have Pkd and ALPS negative lines and  I ensure breeding pairs have compatible blood types.
